Paul Lyons and the Cuban piano player Eduardo Corzo often team up to play a tasty variety of classic Cuban songs, son, guaguanco, mambo, latin-jazz, a Michel Petrucciani tune, classic standards, Brazilian music, bossa-nova and funky originals. I play chromatic harmonica while Eduardo holds down the keys. We often bring in a rotating cast of drummers. This unique group of highly trained musician will make sure your party goes the next level. We are available for engagements in San Francisco, Oakland and Marin.

The Paul Lyons Solo Project
The Paul Lyons solo project is guitar and song with a bit of harmonica. I play original songs, old jazz tunes, cool gems for the 1960s and 70s and some more originals. It is a one man band that is music for all ages. It works best during the daytime, when the words have a chance to settle into the corners of your mind.

Music Arranging
Paul is available as an arranger. For many years, when the bands were a bit bigger than they are now, I wrote many arrangements for the Latin and rhythm and blues scene in San Francisco. These were primarily horn chart “take-downs” of classic tunes or songs that were popular in the day. I did over 250 of these types of arrangements, many professionally copied in ink on high quality paper. I also wrote many original arrangements and collaborated with various singers. Most of these songs are still being played and recorded today.
